Minor in Technical Communication

Theoretical and practical information about communicating complex scientific and technical information to different audiences. Students work on written, oral, and visual communication.

Requirements (16 credits minimum)

• WRIT 3257 (3 cr) Scientific and Technical Presentations OR
  WRIT 3671 (3 cr) Visual Rhetoric and Document Design
• WRIT 3562W (4 cr) Technical and Professional Writing
• WRIT 3441 (3 cr) Editing, Critique, and Style
• Two WRIT courses at 3xxx level or above chosen in consultation with the Minor Advisor

Independent study is not permitted. Internships may only be taken with the minor advisor's approval.
